The Yankees Are a Perfectly Reasonable Opponent

Watching the Sox/Yankees game tonight, it seems that people are furious at Johnny Damon because he now plays for the Yankees.

I’m a Sox fan myself, but this is stupid. He’s a professional ballplayer, not your ex-husband. He doesn’t owe you anything.

  2. Johnny Damon is a traitor no matter how you look at him. Think of him as your ex bestfriend who married your ex hot girlfriend. Plus, he’s a sell out. (But he still has the hottest ass in the AL EAST).

  3. Yeah, I have to say I wasn’t sad to see him go. His arm’s not that great, and you can get a decent lead-off hitter for less (as we’ve proven with Coco). I just don’t like the way he left, making it seem like the Red Sox “hurt” him with their bargaining. But I wouldn’t have booed him. I kinda felt bad for him.

    I bet ARod is glad we’re booing Johnny now instead of him. Seems like we need SOMEONE on the Yankees to boo. It used to be Jeter, then ARod, now Johnny. Personally I like to boo Giambi. Now there’s a REAL prick.
