Pierre Menard is by far my favorite obscure literary reference. Post something with a reference to Wedding Crashers or some Will Farrel movie so the rest of us neanderthals can understand you, you hyper-intelectual douche. (“maybe drink enough to make some bad decisions, play a little game called just the tip, just to see how it feels”).

Even though I sometimes feel like I talk about Borges all the time I still haven’t read much yet. But two nights ago I finally picked up my copy of Ficciones and started to actually ready it. And last night I finally read “Pierre Menard” and this post finally makes sense. And the cover is awesome.
